Position: Serverless Engineer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $190000 - $240000
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Serverless Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Serverless Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our serverless architecture and applications. You will work closely with our software development team to ensure seamless integration of serverless components into our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement serverless solutions for our applications
- Collaborate with software development team to ensure efficient and effective use of serverless architecture
- Optimize serverless functions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with serverless infrastructure
- Monitor and analyze serverless performance metrics and make necessary improvements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest serverless technologies and trends to continuously improve our architecture
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
- Ensure security and compliance of serverless applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with serverless architecture and applications
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java
- Experience with serverless frameworks such as Serverless, AWS SAM, or Azure Functions
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
