Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather release requirements and create release plans
Manage the release process from start to finish, including scheduling, testing, and deployment
Monitor and track software changes and updates, ensuring all changes are properly documented and communicated
Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders, including development teams, project managers, and customers
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential issues during the release process
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the release process
Continuously improve release processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends related to software release management

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Previous experience in software release management or a similar role
Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in using release management tools and software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
