Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain the company's data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL pipelines
Develop efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions to meet business needs
Optimize data warehouse and ETL processes for better performance and scalability
Implement data quality and data governance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
Keep up-to-date with emerging data technologies and tools, and recommend improvements to existing systems
Mentor and train junior team members on data engineering best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools (e.g. AWS Redshift, Informatica)
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) and cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
