Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
Develop and maintain data models to support business requirements and data analysis.
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide data solutions.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and data cleansing processes.
Develop and maintain data documentation to ensure data governance and data security.
Stay updated on the latest data technologies and tools and make recommendations for their implementation.
Monitor and maintain data infrastructure to ensure data availability and scalability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
years of experience working as a Data Engineer or a similar role.
Strong experience with SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
