Salary: $190000 - $224000

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement big data solutions
• Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load large and complex datasets
• Utilize various programming languages and tools such as Python, Java, Hadoop, and Spark to process and analyze large datasets
• Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes to store and retrieve data for analytics and reporting purposes
• Create and maintain data models and schemas to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Identify and resolve performance issues and optimize queries to improve data processing and analysis
• Implement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive data
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and develop solutions to support their analysis and reporting needs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging big data technologies and tools to continuously improve data processing and analysis capabilities
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
• Document and communicate technical solutions and processes to team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in big data development
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL
• In-depth knowledge of big data technologies and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts
• Familiarity with data security and privacy principles
• Ability to write efficient and optimized code to process and analyze large datasets
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex and diverse datasets
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines
