Job Title: Senior ETL Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $190000 - $224000

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's data warehouse and ETL processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development and data warehousing, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract data from multiple sources and load into our data warehouse
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, including data mappings, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
• Conduct data profiling and data quality checks to identify and resolve any data issues
• Work closely with database administrators to ensure data warehouse meets performance and storage requirements
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data warehousing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing
• Strong experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or Talend
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
• Familiarity with data modeling and data integration design principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus
