Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions. You will work closely with the data engineering team to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of data from various sources to the data warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into the data warehouse
- Design and implement data integration solutions using ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into ETL processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, data integration, and performance
- Optimize ETL processes to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability
- Develop and maintain ETL documentation, including data mappings, data dictionaries, and process flow diagrams
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior ETL developers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ETL technologies and best practices
- Mentor and train junior ETL developers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ETL Developer
- Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Previous experience in mentoring and training junior developers is a plus
