About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's data warehousing and ETL processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, ETL development, and database design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
• Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop and maintain data models, data mappings, and data dictionaries to ensure data consistency and accuracy
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing ETL processes
• Perform data quality checks and implement data validation rules
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior ETL developers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data warehousing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing
• Extensive experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
• Experience with data modeling and database design
• Familiarity with data integration techniques and technologies (e.g. REST APIs, web services)
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable ETL solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g. AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is a plus
• Certifications in ETL development or data warehousing are a plus
