Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using PHP and MySQL
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
Design and develop new features, and enhance existing ones, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet business objectives
Optimize and maintain database performance and integrity
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure high-quality, bug-free code

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP development
Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony
Experience with MySQL and database design and optimization
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
