Overview: We are seeking an experienced Application Security Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an Application Security Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our company's applications. You will work closely with our development team to identify potential security threats and implement effective solutions to mitigate these risks. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments of our company's applications, including vulnerability scanning, code review, and penetration testing.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and remediate security issues and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain security standards and best practices for our applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in the design and development of new applications, ensuring that security is built into the development process.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts, and respond to security incidents as needed.
• Create and maintain documentation related to application security processes, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for the development team to promote a security-minded culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application security or software development.
• Strong knowledge of web application security principles, including OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, such as Burp Suite, Nessus, or Qualys.
• Familiarity with programming languages, such as Java, .NET, or Python.
• Experience with web development frameworks, such as Angular, React, or Node.js.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and techniques.
• Familiarity with network security concepts, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
