Job Title: DevOps Lead

Salary: $209000 - $240000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic DevOps Lead to join our team. As the DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the DevOps team, as well as developing and implementing DevOps strategies and processes within our organization. You will play a crucial role in the continuous improvement of our software delivery and deployment processes, ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the DevOps team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and QA engineers, to define and implement DevOps processes and best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines and tools to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize performance.
• Implement and maintain system monitoring and alerting tools to ensure the availability and reliability of our systems.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, to support our applications and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system availability, performance, and security.
• Implement and manage configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, to automate the deployment and configuration of systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, continuously improving our systems and processes.
• Act as a liaison between development and operations teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Lead and participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Strong experience with automation and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and work outside of regular business hours if necessary.
