Position: Junior Angular Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $114000 - $136000

About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Angular Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications using Angular framework. You will work closely with our senior engineers to design and implement new features, fix bugs, and improve the overall performance of our applications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about Angular and wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features using Angular framework
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise in the application
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Angular trends and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Work closely with the UI/UX team to ensure a seamless user experience
• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate frontend with server-side logic
• Continuously improve and maintain existing codebase

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience working with Angular framework
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Angular 2+ and TypeScript
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
• Experience with frontend build tools like Webpack or Gulp
