Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud-based applications.
• Implement and maintain best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization on AWS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues with our cloud infrastructure, including performance and availability.
• Automate processes and tasks using tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features and provide recommendations for their implementation.
• Mentor and train junior cloud engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with AWS, with a strong focus on infrastructure and architecture.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code using tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with VPC design and configuration.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS security best practices and experience implementing them.
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting AWS infrastructure, including performance and availability.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, are a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
