Job Overview: As a Senior Hadoop Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Hadoop-based data processing systems. You will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to build robust and scalable solutions that will enable us to process and analyze large volumes of data in real-time. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing our existing Hadoop clusters to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Hadoop-based data processing systems for real-time data ingestion, processing, and analysis.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Optimize Hadoop clusters for maximum performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the Hadoop infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain data security protocols to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our data.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into Hadoop.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Hadoop clusters.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the Hadoop ecosystem and make recommendations for incorporating them into our systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Hadoop.
• Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, and Spark.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
