Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data models in Snowflake to support business requirements
Develop data pipelines using Snowflake's built-in ETL capabilities and other integration tools
Optimize queries and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data needs and implement solutions
Implement data security and access controls to ensure data privacy and compliance
Monitor and maintain the health and stability of the Snowflake environment
Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices and implement them in our environment
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality and maintainability of our codebase

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Snowflake Developer or a similar role
Extensive experience with Snowflake data warehousing and ETL processes
Strong SQL skills and experience with database design and data modeling
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS or Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of data security and compliance standards, such as GDPR and CCPA
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
