Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain SAS programs and applications in accordance with project requirements and industry best practices.
Perform data manipulation and analysis using SAS tools such as SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/STAT, and SAS/Graph.
Develop and maintain SAS data sets, including data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of SAS programs and applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation for all SAS programs and applications.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.
Stay updated with the latest SAS tools, techniques, and best practices and incorporate them into our development processes.
Train and mentor junior programmers and other team members on SAS programming techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining SAS programs and applications.
Proficient in SAS programming, data manipulation, and analysis.
Extensive experience with SAS tools such as SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/STAT, and SAS/Graph.
Strong understanding of database structures and SQL.
Experience with data warehousing and data mining techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with project management and Agile methodologies is a plus.
