Salary: $68 Per hour

About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior SQL Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Junior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL databases, writing complex SQL queries, and optimizing database performance. You will work closely with our Senior SQL Developers and other team members to design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL databases, including tables, views, and stored procedures
• Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data
• Identify and troubleshoot database issues and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement database solutions
• Ensure data integrity and security through proper data modeling and access controls
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database solutions
• Assist with database tuning and optimization to improve overall performance
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in SQL and database technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience with database design and data modeling
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Certifications in SQL or database technologies
