Salary: $68 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Spark Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Spark Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data processing pipelines using Spark. You will work closely with our Senior Spark Developers and Data Engineers to design, develop, and implement efficient and reliable data solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Senior Spark Developers and Data Engineers to design, develop, and implement data processing pipelines using Spark
• Write efficient and scalable code to process large datasets using Spark RDDs, DataFrames, and Datasets
• Optimize Spark jobs to improve performance and reduce processing time
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in Spark jobs and provide timely resolutions
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Spark clusters
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
• Document technical specifications and project requirements
• Stay updated with the latest Spark developments and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in developing data processing pipelines using Spark
• Strong proficiency in Scala or Java
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem and distributed computing
• Understanding of Spark architecture and internals
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly
