Senior SAP Program Manager

Position: Senior SAP Program Manager

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the implementation and enhancement of SAP systems within the organization
• Lead a team of project managers and technical experts to ensure successful delivery of SAP-related projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into actionable SAP solutions
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential issues and roadblocks
• Communicate project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including senior management and executive leadership
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SAP technology to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the organization
• Mentor and coach junior team members to foster their professional growth and development
• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years of experience managing SAP-related projects
• Strong understanding of SAP applications, modules, and integration with other systems
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex SAP projects on time and within budget
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in a matrixed environment
• PMP or other project management certification is preferred
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Ability to travel as needed for project-related activities
