Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop logical and physical data models for our Sybase databases.
Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into data models.
Work with database administrators to ensure that data models are optimized for performance and scalability.
Perform data analysis to identify data relationships and dependencies.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across all databases and systems.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data mappings, and other documentation related to data models.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data modeling and database design.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on data models and database design.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data modeler, preferably with Sybase databases.
Strong understanding of data modeling principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.
Experience with database design and development, specifically with Sybase databases.
Knowledge of database languages such as SQL and PL/SQL.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a strong focus on data integrity and quality.
