Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our team. As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining various telecommunications systems and networks. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our telecommunication infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop telecommunication systems and networks, including voice, data, video, and wireless communications.
• Conduct site surveys and analyze network coverage and capacity requirements.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for telecommunication projects.
• Install, configure, and test telecommunication equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to telecommunication systems and networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of telecommunication systems with other IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and reliability of telecommunication systems and networks.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement necessary measures to mitigate risks.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in telecommunication technology and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, equipment configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunication systems and networks.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems and protocols, including VoIP, SIP, TCP/IP, and MPLS.
• Experience with network routing and switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment, such as PBX, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
