Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement transmission systems, including power lines, substations, and other related equipment
Develop detailed technical specifications and plans for new transmission projects
Conduct thorough analysis and evaluations of existing transmission systems to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades or modifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that transmission projects are completed on time and within budget
Oversee and direct the installation, testing, and commissioning of new transmission equipment and systems
Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records of all transmission projects and activities
Monitor and troubleshoot transmission network issues, and implement solutions to ensure uninterrupted service
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to transmission engineering to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission engineering, preferably in the energy or utility industry
Strong knowledge of transmission system design, construction, and operation
Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools for transmission planning and analysis
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments
