Position: Web Programmer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $114000 - $144000
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Programmer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's web applications, ensuring they are functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure a seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure a user-friendly and visually appealing website
- Write efficient, testable, and reusable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Optimize website performance and implement SEO best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in web development
- Test and deploy applications on a staging and production environment
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members
- Continuously improve and streamline processes and workflows
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices
- Communicate project progress and issues to team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Web Programmer or in a similar role
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices
- Knowledge of SEO and web optimization techniques
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with web design and UX principles
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
