Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Writing Instructor to join our team. The Writing Instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering writing courses to students of varying ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and teaching, along with a passion for helping students develop their writing abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach writing courses for students of all ages and skill levels.
• Design lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the learning objectives.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to express their ideas and opinions.
• Assess students' writing abilities and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including lectures, discussions, group activities, and individual assignments.
• Incorporate technology and digital tools into the curriculum to enhance the learning experience.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in writing instruction and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
• Communicate regularly with students and their parents/guardians to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and other school events as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching writing, preferably in an educational setting.
• Proven track record of helping students improve their writing skills.
• Strong command of the English language and excellent writing skills.
• Knowledge of different writing styles, techniques, and genres.
• Experience with instructional technology and digital tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to the success of students.
