Job Title: Principal Backend Developer

Salary: $130 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Backend Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Principal Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of our company's backend systems. You will be responsible for leading a team of backend developers, driving technical decisions, and ensuring the overall quality and scalability of our backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of our company's backend systems using cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and designers, to design and implement scalable and robust backend solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the backend development team, ensuring that coding standards, best practices, and design principles are followed.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing timely resolutions and driving continuous improvements.
• Define and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design decisions, and processes.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend new tools and techniques to improve our backend systems.
• Work closely with project management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 3 years in a lead or principal role.
• Extensive experience with backend development using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable and highly available backend systems.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of databases and data modeling, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
