Position: Junior Data Analyst
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $95000 - $120000
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify trends and patterns. You will work closely with our senior data analysts and other team members to provide valuable insights and recommendations for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends and patterns
- Create visualizations and reports to present data in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with team members to understand business needs and objectives
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Monitor data quality and make suggestions for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
