Position: Junior Data Engineer
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $69 Per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in our company's data infrastructure and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data systems. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that our data is accurate, easily accessible, and utilized effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide solutions to enable efficient data analysis
- Develop and maintain data quality processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions to business problems
- Continuously improve data infrastructure and processes to enhance data availability, reliability, and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in data engineering or a related role
- Proficient in SQL and experience working with relational databases
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
