Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of NLP solutions to analyze, interpret, and extract insights from large text datasets.
Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP techniques, tools, and technologies.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define, prioritize and execute NLP projects that align with business goals.
Design and develop NLP models and algorithms to solve complex language-related problems such as sentiment analysis, entity recognition, topic modeling, and text summarization.
Use data mining and machine learning techniques to preprocess, clean, and transform unstructured data into a format suitable for NLP tasks.
Build scalable and efficient NLP pipelines to handle large volumes of data and improve processing speed.
Design and implement evaluation metrics and experiments to measure the accuracy, performance, and effectiveness of NLP models.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior NLP engineers, review their work, and help them grow their skills.
Communicate and present NLP solutions and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues with NLP models and propose solutions to improve their performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Natural Language Processing, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in NLP development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in NLP techniques and algorithms such as word embeddings, named entity recognition, topic modeling, and sentiment analysis.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ and NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Gensim.
Experience in working with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Experience with data processing, feature engineering, and data visualization tools.
Strong understanding of machine learning principles and statistical analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively.
Proven track record of delivering NLP solutions that solve complex business problems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Passion for learning and keeping up with emerging technologies and industry trends.
