Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architecture to support our organization's applications and services.
Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for cloud operations and security.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new cloud-based solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for improving our cloud infrastructure and services.
Create and maintain documentation for all cloud systems and processes.
Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors, ensuring that we are getting the most value from our partnerships.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to any critical incidents or outages.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including security, scalability, and availability.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
