Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions that meet the company's objectives and requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and design cloud solutions to support them.
Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for the adoption of cloud services to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Conduct regular security audits and implement security measures to protect cloud resources.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.
Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Assist with budget planning and cost optimization of cloud resources.
Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture.
Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficient in cloud automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Python).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of networking and security concepts in a cloud environment.
Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop a team.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
