Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product development team to understand product features and functionality
Write clear, concise, and informative technical documents including user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and API documentation
Create diagrams, screenshots, and other visuals to enhance understanding of technical concepts
Edit and proofread technical documents for accuracy, consistency, and clarity
Review and update existing technical documentation to ensure it is up-to-date with product changes and improvements
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure consistency across all documentation
Conduct research and gather information from subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documents
Continuously improve and streamline documentation processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the quality of technical documents

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to organize complex information into user-friendly content
Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical writing tools such as Adobe FrameMaker and RoboHelp
Experience with HTML, CSS, and XML is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with Agile development methodology is preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
A portfolio showcasing previous technical writing projects is a plus
