Installed, configured, tested, and supported all aspects on integrated architecture on windows 2000 server platform. Installed patches and perform upgrades on as needed basis. Began working on PeopleSoft Upgrade on UNIX platform and half-way through project scrubbed due to merger with CenturyTel. SAP was chosen business application for new company CenturyLink. Test Support. Support many types of systems ranging from Unix, Mainframe, Windows platforms. Move code into environments for testing and build out new and existing environments. Build out consisted of working with appropriate vendors or systems support resources to get initial environment stood up. Once platform and required software was implemented, configuration of the environment and code was implemented. Shake out testing was always performed before handing environment over to testing support team. My main platform of expertise was windows platforms. Installing and configuring 3rd party type software of homegrown application that would run off of services or IIS. Often work with System Administrators to troubleshoot issues. Worked on (Access Request Management System) - Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, and Support. Mainframe, JCL, VSAM, Cobol, MQ Series, & CICS. Worked on complete life cycle.
• Did analysis, design, and development work with Easytrieve programming language. Modified and created JCL to execute programs. 3 months contract.
Began as Intern for 2 months and then was hired as employee. Worked with CICS, DB2, Cobol, and JCL. Analysis, Design, Code, Test, and Implementation of modules into production environment. Worked on Tracking system that tracked flow of freight on daily basis.
