Maintained and produced Perl scripts with custom JSON configurations used by customers to convert Big Data workflows between various technologies.
• Reviewed code written by other developers for logical correctness and adherence to company coding standards prior to application in production systems.

+ nginx2db : Multi-component tool run nightly to import NGINX access logs into MySQL database for ease of searching and analyzing user activity. + uri2module : Perl script for determining which shared or client-specific Perl module handled given requested URI for easier debugging of errors in absence of stack trace.
• Tackled major projects for modernizing internal and outward-facing systems, including: + tm2rm : Imported data from home-grown task management system into Redmine via API, with care to replicate users, issues, and comments as if originally created in target system. + epl2tt : Created Perl command-line utility with web interface for rewriting Embperl template files to be parsable by Template Toolkit 2, to facilitate conversion by front- and back-end developers of thousands of individual templates.
• Reviewed and applied daily patches to database schemas as required for functionality updates.
• Reviewed and optimized complex MySQL queries for staff/client data reporting.
• Performed detailed research of database transaction history to reconcile data discrepancies.
• Performed triage of anomalous behavior of multiple internal and production web and database servers, directly handling minor issues with proprietary tools.
